About The Artwork
My inspiration for creating this painting is to increase the awareness of the declining population of Monarchs. Conservation is a necessity for their survival. By planting milkweed and nectar plants that are native to your area, and garden organically, we can save the monarch! What I find spectacular about this painting is the glaze that I added to the acrylics and then sprinkled on crushed crystals while the paint was still wet. The glittery, shimmery, shiny crystals bring a touch of magic to this painting...
