Night, seascape with moon and reflections on the water. Painting in blue-gold seasoned scale. A dreamy, mysterious landscape, conducive to reflection and meditation. In the foreground are islands made of stone, overgrown with moss and herbs, which you want to look at because of the complexity of the texture. . The painting is made in mixed media using modeling paste, which gives an interesting surface to the stone islands. Under different lighting, the picture looks interesting and new. The painting is painted in an impressionistic manner, here the impression of the velvet night is important. The water glares, the colors of the night bring everything closer in color, and only flashes of yellow, ocher and gray-blue. The result is a northern landscape in restrained colors. The painting is painted on a textured basis, which gives it an element of surprise and complexity of the top coat of paint. Its surface is very interesting to look at, there are complex colors and patterns from the influx of paint. Larisa is a self-taught artist. She was born in a small Siberian village and spent her childhood among mountains, icy mountain rivers and picturesque lakes. Living close to nature had a significant impact on the formation of artistic perception and became the main sources of inspiration in future works. In 1987 she moved to the city of Barnaul, received a history education, got married and gave birth to her first child. She has never studied painting professionally, devoting all her time to her family, but she has always been engaged in creativity in its various manifestations: she painted dishes, sewed custom-made clothes according to her own sketches, and invented children's toys. The serious illness of the second child forced the artist to go into creativity in order to find light in what was happening in life. So, unexpectedly for herself, in 2015 she painted her first oil painting. Since then, she gave birth to two more children, took many training courses on working with oils, pastels, and intensives in encaustics. She actively participates in various art contests and marathons and maintains a pretty popular instagram. The artist's works are sold all over the world: America, Canada, Japan, Israel, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, China, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Russia. Several works were purchased for a private gallery in Vietnam. Larisa constantly receives offers from different schools about teaching, but she prefers to focus on constant self-study in order to develop, learn new things, try different techniques, materials and plots in her work. In any work, she seeks to convey light and a feeling of warmth, which she herself experiences when painting.
