About The Artwork
I painted this several years ago, put it in a portfolio binder and forgot where I put it. It popped up while I was straightening my studio. This is a street corner in Key West at dusk. I painted it in acrylic on canvas but this is the original study in gouache on archival paper. I love to work in gouache and don't use it enough. It seems to create a brighter, cleaner image than even acrylic.
