Cosmo Continents II. Painting

My travel to Brazil, Bahia and the great news that Zealandia is the 8th continent on our planet inspired me to draw my Cosmo Continents paintings. Why does that inspire me? The view from above allows me to have that bigger picture. A bigger picture about what's truly important in my life and what's not. This is my attempt to regularly get out of my daily routine and narrowed view. I want to share that with you because it's very rewarding and because it can open you up to changes in your own life. I'm fascinated by the history of our continents, how earth once looked like. I mirror the surface of our earth seen from above. I hope that the viewer feel a variety of emotions that are deeply rooted with him/herself. I chose acrylics and a fluid approach to reflect that our earth is formed mostly by the water.
