ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Jung Hyen Kim has been playing with ink and paper more than thirty decades in Korea and China. Kim has been focusing on visualizing existences that cannot be seen. As an artist, it is very natural for him to observe his surroundings. He took notice of wrapping papers in his painting studio and used them instead of brushes. A painting (artwork) is what standing between the artist and the viewers. And, a brush has always been in between the artist and a painting. Kim went beyond his boundary and used wrap to paint.
