Anisha Burman was born in New Delhi, India. She moved to London in 1995 and has since called London her home. She has had a life long passion for the Arts and Media and continued her studies in a variety of different fields such as journalism, fashion, advertising and film-making. She is based in Mayfair and is part of an artistic duo with Leslie Mwambazi who together go by the name "LesNiche". The Artwork spans a period of 13 years and is showcased in an art book authored by the artists themselves. The book goes under the title of "Volutionism". Votutionism is the artist's own philosophy which acts as an overarching principle to the philosophies of Dualism, Trialism, Pluralism and Abstract and Surrealism.
