Art Description

Painting: Acrylic and Oil on Cardboard.

This is a painting of Courtroom 600, the location of the Nuremberg trials that happened in Germany following World War 2. The Nuremberg trials were the first of their kind, in attempting to bring justice against the perpetrators of such hideous crimes against humanity, and the place is still seeped with emotion and trauma, but also importantly forced Nazi leaders to admit responsibility for what they had done.
