ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is part of a series called Cows from an Irish Countryside. Each evoke a sense of peace and beauty as you look into the eyes. All paintings are acrylic and fine pen on high quality paper, mounted and framed in a white wooden and glass frame. This is the second picture in a series of 5. I am blessed to be living in the country where I have plenty of opportunity to photograph these beautiful animals. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed painting them. This painting is completed on canvas textured paper 12"w x 16"h and the final framed piece is 16"w x 20"h.

I am a self-taught acrylic painter who has studied photography in University as part of my degree in Communication Studies in Dublin City University. I have sold some work in London and Ireland but have recently started to explore acrylic painting - I love colour, light and texture. I love exploring old buildings and farmyards and my love of the Irish countryside is evident in all of the work so far. My style could be described as a dry paint technique with a nod towards the quirky and colourful.
