About The Artwork
This painting is of two of my favorite objects that I have held onto. The bronco rider is metal and was found in New Mexico. I have painted it twice now and have made bread dough reproductions of it. The bull is from a thrift store in Illinois, it is plastic and quite large for that sort of toy. Along with my mid-century pottery, my paint by number horses and my old wooden lawn decor they all must define my era as I have lived it, if you can define people by what they surround theirselves with.
