Juhli.Jansen@gmail.com As an artist, my paintings are created through meditative altered states of mind using brain wave symphonies, I compose using my own unusual and beautiful mind. This led me to become an avid neuroscience researcher, sharing the joy and mental stimulation I feel creating art in my studio.
 The process begins by listening to brain wave music I’ve composed, tapping into that special frequency where inspiration resides. Then the magic begins. The creativity flows, as I allow my emotional energy to rise to the surface. I paint to explore my subconscious mind and the hidden recesses of my brain that are not accessible to me on a conscious level. When people view my brain paintings, they see images in my art that I didn’t consciously intend to put there. Their interpretation of my art allows them to explore, uncover and reveal to themselves what’s within their mind. Perhaps this gives them courage to explore and release their own feelings. I also donate a portion of the proceeds from each art piece sold (50% of the profit) to the Brain Research Foundation. It is a public, nonprofit, charitable organization dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults who are touched by neurological disorders.
