About The Artwork

In this painting three evanescent squares emerge from the depth of the monochromatic. At the center of each panel, a human figure walks, advancing with an uncertain step towards an unknown destination. It is not known where these figures are going, nor what their ultimate fate is. They are wrapped in an aura of mystery, as if time has stopped waiting for their next movement. Only one of the panels offers a dark background, creating a sharp contrast to the shades of gray and ocher that permeate the entire composition. As if the figure in the center of this box were walking in a nocturnal limbo, looking for a light that could illuminate his path. The set of three panels seems to capture a moment of transition, as if the figures were crossing a threshold between the past and the future. They are alone, but not desperate. They walk with confidence, even if their fate remains uncertain. This painting is an invitation to reflect on the nature of movement and the transience of life itself. The walking figures in the center of these squares represent our individual journey, made up of adventures and challenges that bring us ever closer to our goal.
