Arty Jesse: Explorer of Pop Culture, Contrasts and LGBTQ+ Diversity Arty Jesse is a French professional artist living in Paris since fifteen years. She has devoted herself to the production of acrylic portraits, creating graphic, minimalist and strongly contrasting, inspired by fashion and Pop Culture. Her subjects of study at the basis of the creation of series mixing paintings and videos are varied, ranging from the circus to smokers or drag queens. During her career, she has collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Harvard University or brands such as DS automobiles. She has also exhibited in several galleries in Paris and abroad, thus allowing an international audience to discover her work. Arty Jesse is also deeply involved in the artistic and cultural life of Paris. The LGBT+ district, the Marais in Paris, where she has lived for 15 years, is a constant source of inspiration for her art. She has collaborated several times with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a drag queens organization engaged in charitable actions and defense of LGBT+ rights.
