Born in 1959 in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid-Spanish). With two years he moved to Madrid, where he spent his childhood and adolescence. From an early age became interested in art, specifically painting. At 14 he joined the School of Arts and Crafts in Madrid where he acquired his first knowledge mainly drawing and painting. In 1976 practice drawing in the Fine Arts in Madrid until 1981 to supplement their training in various workshops in Madrid in which learns of the base and methodology of his painting, combining it with his big first steps in the professional world. Despite their diverse backgrounds, he has consistently and primarily self taught. In 1983 he settled with his wife, Marisena in Ciempozuelos (Madrid), where he created his studio- workshop where he currently lives with his family. For more than two decades ago began his teaching assuming the position of professor in several public and private schools until 2001, when he creates his own school "School of Drawing and Painting Antonio Vázquez" which continues to teach their classes. He has earned throughout his career several awards and more than 70 awards in national and international competitions and contests. He has exhibited in major galleries, fairs and institutions and his work belongs to large public and private collections worldwide.
