About The Artwork
When one feels a painting it should be a metaphysical experience and a gateway to an altered state. Many painters have this effect on me and so I follow in the line of a great shamanistic tradition that lies hidden in the history of art.This work is inspired by itself more than what was present in the studio. As a painting develops it creates a visual dialogue with the creator and hopefully this creates a new space for contemplation and meditation for the viewer. When I look at painting I never allow words to enter. I am only interested in the contemplative experience. This is what I believe.
