ABOUT THE ARTWORK

In this painting, I have depicted the Duden Waterfall, which astounds with its power and the mystery of nature. It shows how wise and intelligent nature is, wielding immense authority over humans. Standing before this forceful flow, one feels insignificant and helpless, and one's control over nature fades, prompting reflection on the brevity of life. The water has been flowing for countless years and will continue to flow even after one's death. This contrast between the fleeting nature of life and the boundlessness of nature is what this painting is about.

Biography Since childhood, I was surrounded by a creative atmosphere. My father was a professional artist and had his own workshop where I spent a lot of time. There was never any doubt about my future profession: it was clear from an early age that art would be an integral part of my life. Studying at the art school in Almaty allowed me to realize my passion and vocation for art. The Tansykbaeva College of Arts provided me with a strong academic foundation, which served as a solid base for further studies at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts. Here, I honed my skills in media arts. Animation and close interaction with screen arts significantly influenced my style, adding dynamism, character, and dramaturgy. While pursuing my master’s degree, I worked in the film industry as an artist. Project after project, I enthusiastically developed my professional skills in film production at various private and state studios. This experience left an indelible mark on my creative works in oil on canvas. After many years of working as a production designer, I returned to my long-held dream: painting. My works are born under the influence of my emotions and reflect feelings. Fleeting situations and frozen moments become my inspiration. The energy and themes of my works are fueled by my desire to tell the story of women in a broad sense: women as mothers, as phenomena that give and sustain life. The fate and social role of women, conveyed in my paintings, are presented from the perspective of women and always take the side of women.
