D Major And All That Jazz Painting

This is in honor a very interesting man, Major Morris and his photographs and stories of the iconic blues musician Muddy Waters. The elements in the work tells the stories of his life, raised by his grandmother during the great depression, serving his country as a Buffalo soldier, living in the era of segregation and racial discrimination is just a small portion of his rich life. I was lucky to have know him even for a short time.
