ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Dreaming across the pond", is an original painting, acrylic on Hahnemuhle bamboo paper, presented studio mounted, glazed and framed. Part of a body of work entitled TWENTY:TWENTY...Vision, created during Covid Lockdown. This Abstracted Landscape was inspired by walks within our allowed 5K to a local lake here in rural Ireland, its wild with mark making and texture yet subtle in tone and almost romantic in its very nature, belying its dangerous undercurrent and our social and political unease!
