ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I painted this piece on my patio on a beautiful but hot plus 30 degree day.. Landscapes seem to be what flows most easiest from my hand and are the most appealing to my eyes.. Recently I have enjoyed going quite minimalistic with my landscapes or seacapes whilst still capturing just the right amount of detail in natures beauty. Thus painting is very dreamy, very calming to look at. It makes me dream of days gone by. I hope you enjoy it! *signed *will be framed in a black shadow box frame to highlight yet not overwhelm the art.

Amber is a self taught artist who grew up in beautiful Vancouver BC. Growing up she always had a passion for anything "art". The beauty of movement in the art of dance, the way a writer "paints" a song that touches you, and captures your imagination.. Her favourite way of self expression was working with charcoal to create depth and shadows on paper as well as painting bold bright pieces.. Through family illness and much loss, she swayed from her passions and put her paint brush down at the age of 18.. Now a 32 year old woman, she recently bought a new paint set for the love of her life, her 5 year old daughter Alina.. Picked up a paintbrush to help her paint a butterfly..
