Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

Oil on canvas
Dama Sneg is the third oil piantino of the Dama Cycle. This tells the awakening of 9 spirits of revenge for the killing of the 9 Muses. Every Dama reminds to the Man, through contemporary themes, of the meaning of ancient inspirations. Sneg appears to avenge Polimnia (the one who has so many hymns). Symbol of adorned poetry and hymns, Dama Sneg remembers and protects the concept that synthesizes many hymns: biodiversity. The Dama, in a polar twilight, protects the highest example of a hymn to nature: the bunker under the Svalbard Islands.
