I spend much of my time backpacking or hiking and exploring my area. I am constantly inspired by the beauty of my surroundings and the wildlife visiting my property. Through my paintings, I explore the complexity of the simplest of objects, and nature's amazing beauty. I also enjoy painting the things inspiring me that I see in this high desert, mountainous area, and the unique people who live here at the present as well as the pioneers that settled the area.
