"This is a painting from a project called "Nostro Caro Scuro", a very esoteric project. I try to get in deep in my soul, my brain, my feelings, into myself, to discover, to touch the most profound feelings, to feel the vibration of my heart, to wake up memories, to create new stories to live. That's the way that i approach my painting as always but that was different. It was more "dark". I let myself to fall in THE painting, to swim in there, to express liberally with my gest all my feelings."

Apostolos Itskoudis was born in Alexandroupoli in 1985 and he grew up in N. Orestiada. He received his first drawing lessons at the painting lab of Nikolas Christoforakis and Litsa Martzoukou (2003-2005) and he completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence in 2010. He teaches drawing and painting since 2012. He is a member of the Chamber of Visual Arts of Greece. He lives and works in Alexandroupoli, Greece.
