He was born in Calabar, in the State of Cross River, he lives in and practice art in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in Southern Nigeria. He is also a visual artist who loves exploring different media in art. One of such media is the digital media. He believes that art should be used in awakening beautiful emotions in humans as life is fleeting and times are difficult.
