Part of the Lemonade Stand Gallery’s Small Works Exhibition at the Studios of Key West, Sanger Gallery, Florida April 4-25, 2019. This resin, acrylic, and ink painting is high gloss in person. I am transfixed by flying over water; seeing the translucency and change of colour with the various depths. These works are inspired by warm seas that ease the mind and recharge the soul. I have always felt both energized and calmed, all at once, when I am near the ocean. Each painting represents an emotion that we feel so vividly in those moments of repose. Need an escape?
