The sun was going down. The wildflowers gradually lowered their heads, getting ready for bed. The birds fell silent, settling down on the fluffy branches of trees and bushes. Dragonflies, grasshoppers and other bugs were sheltered by the field. From the direction of the dachas, voices of mothers and grandmothers were heard, gathering everyone for dinner. The night will be calm and cool. Tomorrow is a new day with new events and impressions. And only a wilted wreath of wildflowers on the windowsill with a subtle scent will remind you of the beautiful yesterday.

She was born in the city of Ulyanovsk. At the age of 9, my mother and I visited the city of Leningrad, where a friend of my mother's friend took us from morning to evening to numerous museums, where paintings of great artists hung. I looked at the paintings with great passion, and then I said to myself that I would be an artist. Then I was happy that I understood why I live. Painting has become the goal of my life for me. When I was 13, I went to a drawing club in a pioneer house. And at the age of 15 I decided to enter the Ulyanovsk pedagogical school of the art and graphics department. But my mother advised me to enroll in the preschool department, saying that it would be difficult to work as an art teacher at school, that it is generally difficult to work with teenagers. I also listened to it because I also loved children very much. After graduating from the preschool department, I got married and left for Lithuania with my military husband. In Kaunas, I visited museums every Sunday, where there was Western European painting. In 1990 I graduated from the Kaunas Art College. In those years, I loved to paint portraits of people. But I had a creative crisis and the first decade of the new century I did not take a brush in my hands at all, with rare exceptions. And since 2009, she has discovered the world of flowers with new enthusiasm. I especially admired roses. I began to paint this queen of flowers with great inspiration. The blossoming rose delights and thrills me. Svetlana Kruglova's works are in galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad.
