ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This was inspired (as a few have been lately) by a photograph by John French. I wanted to give life espeically to the object the model was holding -- to make it beat and bleed. The background was done with tissue paper following the painting of the main figure. I wanted to switch the patterns in a way that here the woman wears appears as a drab color within a setting that is vibrant and colorful.
