Painting: Acrylic on Wood. In Romvári's case, 'joy' is key, giving him an inner strength to work with, rather than happiness or delight, his experimental energy.keeping his creative curiosity in perpetual motion, takes his art down newer and newer paths. In terms of his painterly methods, the artist thinks in layers, numerous layers, whose sensitive surfaces allow the planes beneath to filter through around microscopic or 'astral' coordinates. His canvases are a multitude of organic shapes such as cellular formations and resin patches, achieved variously by pouring, tweaking and sometimes even blowing. The construciton of images thorugh the stacking of cells allows for an infinity of variations, which in turn allow for an infinity of opportunities for interpretation. Among his painterly tools we can observe the following motifs throughout his oeuvre: trees/forests, waves, gates, water/reflections. the horizon, cells or biomorphic shapes. A toolkit, which serves as the basis for his creative process. “I am exploring new worlds in the field of oil painting. Although I am working with non-objectivity, this does not mean that I am not interested in reality. I am searching the hidden side of nature and reality for the flow of densely woven waves within the elements of earth, fire, water and air. At first sight, my paintings could be viewed as single cells, organisms, or biological building blocks – a microscopic world locked in a Petri dish. My intention is to show the intensity of close, pulsating powers. Based on my visual experience, I create new worlds through my own visual system. I am interested in observing changes, while wandering through biomorphic imagination. As I paint, I create a balance between the planned and the improvised. The forms in the painting open a world to the imagination of the viewer. There is an airy opacity to the form, a moment of suspense and glowing colours that the gaze can sink into. After much experimentation, I hit upon the lacquer technique, which I feel provides the best means of visualizing the effect I am seeking.” Keywords: abstract art, Hungarian, colors, contemporary, artist, lightballs, balls, modern

In 2012, after several years of successful cooperation, we have decided to set up an art gallery which aims to fulfil the need for the domestic and international representation of abstract and kinetic arts, and promotes artists creating in this field in the long run. In the spring of 2013 we launched programs at 44 Paulay Ede street, in the 6th district of Budapest, and in December we have already managed to introduce the gallery at an international art fair. In 2014, we enlarged our team with some new colleagues to pursue the realization of our objectives with even greater energy. We are building international cooperation, participating in art fairs and offering foreign artists opportunity to exhibit at our gallery in the framework of residency programs. In November 2014, we moved into a nice, spacious new location, at Gregersen Point Art (Lónyay st. 31, Budapest, District IX.), where we can simultaneously held multiple events. We trust that, as a result of our work, we could add to the important cultural scene of Budapest, as artists with an artist-centered approach and independent style. Our hope is to be present in the international art scene, as well. 2015 Member of The Associaction of Hungarian Contemporary Art Galleries.
