ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In 1990, I had been living in Washington, D.C. for 12 years, working as a professional architectural photographer. I frequently sat at the National Cathedral near a fountain across the street from my apartment on Wisconsin Avenue. One day, I had a vision of a distant city view, of a new place where I would be. In 1998, that vision became reality when I moved to California and rented a studio in Sausalito overlooking the bay. This was my view.
