I am a contemporary abstract artist with 23 years of experience in the realm of painting. I use many kinds of materials and paints to create my mixed media artworks which are painted with time and pure passion. While I use a variety of materials and processes in each art work my methodology is consistent. Although there may not always be material similarities between the different projects they are linked by recurring formal concerns and through the subject matter. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work. Each project often consists of multiple layers or even a single layer but very rarily, often in a range of different media and styles, grouped around specific themes and meanings.
