This painting is inspired by a story from my youth. I was supposed to give my dads birds food and water during my parents holidays. And I forgot all about it. It was a very hot summer. So all the birds died. I bought some new birds and hoped he wouldnt notice. But it was the first thing my dad saw when he came back home. He never told me until a few years ago.
