As a sketch leaves was green and it was supposed to be regular landscape depiction, but later on I turned to the dreamy mood and changed leaves to blues. Following that I decided to make it about falling asleep. So on the left everything is detailed, to bloor a bit in to gold & silver in a middle; and when fully asleep, there's no detail, leaves change into pac-men, flowers into fried eggs and dream logic takes over... While working on the middle and right panel, there was massive storm over my studio and something happened to chemical process of applying schlagmetal leaves, probably to electrical charge in the air. Even thou surface is different, I decided to leave it as a mark of higher nature powers. I don't think it disturbs whole composition - in contrary, adds some interesting disturbances "under the surface of the waters". BOOKED for an exhibition at Galeria Stalowa in Warsaw in August 2024. Recently I was visited in the Studio by my new friend and he confirmed what I sadly know for a long time now - photos give only a fraction of beauty and impact of these works. For once gold is very hard to capture, second - size matters in these matter. It's really totally differnt feeling when you face in person painting bigger than you. Please have it in mind watching it. You can watch a short video on my Instagram Queen_Verona_Insta

Most of the highly celebrated art is about discovering new or commenting on current pressing matters, but my art is about simple everyday willingness to live. I paint because this gives me purpose and joy – it’s like humming nice song for a hundredth time, even thou there were many covers before; preparing favorite drink for a friend and myself, to enjoy it again in a new glass perhaps; dressing up for no occasion, just to look and feel good; caressing a lover… I wish it was the same for recipients of my art – everyday pleasure in experiencing it. Like a book that you red many times, yet you still reach for it; dish that you always order in that place that is there forever... Repeatable, often classic topics; favorite color palette; small and big things that makes us want to live, even thou world can be such an ugly place. I want my art to make it better - even for a moment, even in a tiny way. I want it to remind myself and others that it's worth to try everyday...
