Dream landscape Painting

Nowhere we could find as much inspiration as in nature. This painting inspired by Piet Oudolf’s landscapes. His radical planting is romantic, naturalistic and hugely influential. His designs offer up something wild and alive. The plant combinations are dynamic and playful. Folks flock to them, whether it’s the High Line in New York, the meadows at Hauser & Wirth’s art gallery in Somerset, or the Olympic Park in Stratford, to name a few. He likes to escape some of the rules around gardening – to provide thought, spontaneity, and pleasure. So I wanted to create a sense of depth and light using the same colours. Such attention to details creates the lush, realistic landscapes that give people the feeling of familiarity. The more you look at this painting the more you see — the work is always revealing something new.
