I am Theophilus Tetteh with the brush name Niiodai. I am a Ghanaian who currently resides in Accra. I am an impressionist artist who works with acrylic paints on canvas. My art is basically a self-expression of how I feel and what I feel. With a first glance at my work, there are some specific techniques, which stands out. This includes: Blue highlights on the eyes, Yellow skin and textured and thick clothing's This techniques are targeted at drawing my viewers into each character's unique personality and attitude through their gaze, mood and vibe. In current times, I have come to love drawing youths, most especially Black youths and close friends. This is linked to what I can personally feel through their eyes. I can feel the heat, vibrancy, enthusiasm, energy and their positivity to make the world a better place. I am of view that, though the youth seek change, there is still a need for good counsel, good reflection ,good thought and understanding from rightful sources. This world can be a better place if the youth are guided on their quest without any form of intimidation and disregard. As a conveyer, my priority is to make the world become a better place through my art.
