Mon regard est attiré par une matière... Je la trouve attirante, belle, sa couleur, son tombé, ses caractéristiques physiques propre... J'amorce un processus. Je prends plaisir à la manipuler, l'articuler, la transformer,l'associer, la sublimer. Elle peut être très humble et destinée à une toute autre utilisation. je ne cherche pas absolument à détourner les objets mais l'idée de créer une œuvre à partir de « rien » me plaît énormément. Mon inspiration se met en marche. Je laisse surgir pêle-mêle et accueille sans censure une idée qui en appelle une autre, j'avance dans le faire à pleine main comme un artisan. Je découvre presque surprise et avec émotion cet objet en train de naître... Il prend forme, se complexifie, grandit... Je suis ouverte à toute piste, attentive à la résonance qui lui fait écho...Parallèlement à l'instauration de l'oeuvre, je mène une réflexion sur celle-ci sans abandonner une grande part instinctive. la matière choisie, associée à d'autres éléments, est en partie transformée ( peinture). Je prends mon temps afin que ce qui émerge me paraisse suffisamment satisfaisant à tout niveau ( expression de soi et aspect esthétique). Le résultat revêt très souvent une identité primitive, presque d'art tribal, quelque chose qui vient de loin... collant à l'inconscient collectif. Evelyne Dominault (inspirée par Louis Une enfance passée sur les bâteaux m'a appris la liberté... Mon adolescence a su surmonter la rébellion en prenant les chemins de la poésie... En 1994, je découvre la culture amérindienne et se déclenche alors une vague créatrice...comme je travaille alors dans les costumes de théâtre, j'utilise tous les textiles et matériaux à ma portée pour réaliser mes premiers boucliers. Autodidacte, mon expérience se forge par toutes les essais sans barrière, chaque jour, renouvelés.Je n'hésite pas à vagabonder qui vers la peinture, qui vers la gravure ou la sculpture... Depuis mes débuts j'ai participé à de nombreuses expositions (nationales et internationales ) et salons où j'ai gagné des prix et aussi eu la chance d'être en résidence sur l'île de Bendor. encore un temps fort, ma sélection au MacParis du printemps 2019 et nov. 2022. en travaillant la matière, en la marquant y inscrivant des traces, des marques du temps,.
