ABOUT MY WORK:
This artwork is from the series «Parisian stories». The painting is dedicated to the first decades of the twentieth century in France. This is about Paris, which we know from the old daguerreotypes, photographs, and the first documentary films - removed from us in time and space. Almost abstract, pasty manner of painting includes elements of collage and drawing. A pearly, shimmering gray color has absorbed all the restraint of the French cityscape. It was possible to combine the historical and imaginary Paris in this series of artworks, and to bridge the gap between art and reality.
Artwork is unframed.
