I work as an artist based in the North West of the UK, and specialise in original contemporary paintings, throughout a range of subjects, created in a dynamic abstract style. My images are a combination of personal visual matter, memories and mood. I attempt to infuse my work with a sense of drama and atmosphere through bold and emotive colours, rich multi-layered textures and adventurous compositions. Abstraction is a general feature of my work, and I always try to balance this with a sense of hidden light and mystery, leaving enough scope for the viewer to interpret the work in their own way. Throughout my life my passion to express myself using the visual arts has always been there. I was born in Manchester and now live in Cheshire, UK, but I'm fortunate to have sold my work on a worldwide scale, to public and private collectors.
