Eastside Waves at Cape Painting

Color is the most & important,fun. And sets the mood.It's the guide when I paint. Love to experiment with different methods, mediums,& grounds. Currently enjoying abstract, non representational, somewhat 'color-field' style painting. Involves raw canvas& poured paints- Images emerge taking us back to our diving days hovering on reefs, wrecks, cenotes... as the paint seeps its way across the canvas, creating vibrant undulating colors, mimicking underwater world. I've named some paintings for places we've dived, but! They can be whatever the viewer sees in them, that reminds all of nature's bounty and infinite wonder. Also enjoy painting impressionist modern landscapes and seascapes, it takes me where we want to be! Thank you for looking!
