About The Artwork
Much of my work is inspired by nature and the Diptych represents in abstract the feel of trees changing their colors in the Fall. I love the quick drying acrylics & using gel mediums to enhance the quality of my strokes. My palette knife seems to skate over the surface creating the subtlety of texture I desire. I do love doing the occasional Diptych to enhance the repetitive composition and with this one I embellished the work with a warm carved wood in gold, the pattern a loose horizontal to compliment the two vertical compositions. I wanted to capture the free flowing essence that is nature. This work is ready to hang and enjoy!
