Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Ink, Oil on Canvas.

• Digitally created and print-sublimated on 100% polyester canvas, I painted “Ebola Girl” first to show a girl garbed in yellow running away from the ebola virus that plagued 100s of thousands of Ethiopians in 2016 I think.

• Once completed, the artwork later reminded me of a young British boy who participated in the 2014 Boston Marathon in Massachussetts who failed to win first place, but managed to reach the finish line in spite of some terrorist bombs exploding that interrupted the race, and injured many spectators.
