About The Artwork
I started the work after the three ,,Liberation,, paintings. ,,Ecxstasy,, is vibrant, lively, energizing, joyful and ecstatic. It is a painting that will bring good mood into grey days that we all sometimes have. The painting was inspired of the joy that one feels realizing the freedom that we all actually have. The freedom of living life the way you choose. And trusting the flow of life, that it will give you everything you need when you need it. Just take one step towards your dreams and it will lead you to another one and another one. The painting is also ment to remind one that life is so colorful and full of beautiful things. If you smile to the world and take a moment to see its beauty it will amaze you! Take time to see the beauty in little and even at first glance ugly things. There is beauty even in chaos. It will become a good habbit to see the good and beautiful in everything. And this will be like an insurance against bad mood and stress! I used acrylics and almost no brush. That was the way that painting had to be done. That was the image I needed to express. The painting can be hanged on the wall by the wooden frame. Sides of the painting are mainly painted.

As long as I can remember I have been drawing, painting or creating something. Art and creativity were always a part of my life and my paintings, drawings, jewelry, painted mugs, designed books, hats, pullovers and cutting boards can be found in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Vietnam, Russia, New Zeland, USA, Australia, Thailand, Latvia etc. Through life I have designed advertising posters, shop windows, book covers, woven pullovers and socks etc. I have also published a book about gemstones and written some articles for newspapers. Writing is another passion of mine. I am a freelancer. I paint and started my own design brand called UNLA Design. I design and hand crafts jewelry, funny hats and wooden cutting boards with funny quotes. My designs and paintings are inspired by everyday life. And nature. And dreams. And music. I do not have a certain style or theme because I do not like to put myself into frames. My paintings form if I start to paint. All my paintings and designs carry messages. I like to create things that make people happy. That make people smile. If we smile we can make the world a better place!
