ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love painting snow and the way the whiteness accentuates any colours that are in the landscape. In this painting, the warm reds and browns contrasted with the cool blue shadows. I painted this using artists' quality Winsor and Newton watercolours on Saunders Waterford 300lb Hot Press watercolour paper. This paper helped me to convey the texture of the bark and the plough lines. This painting will need to be mounted and framed prior to hanging.
