Vladislav Turkin is a contemporary artist living and working in Moldova. He was born in 1991 in Chisinau. He specializes in portraits and images of horses. To create his works of art, Vladislav combines traditional and modern materials, such as acrylic, oil, spray paints and original 24-karat gold. The main task for the author is to find non-standard solutions in the image of horses, using and combining a traditional approach and modern painting techniques. In his works, the author strives to completely change people's ideas about horse painting as a boring, old and traditional hippic genre in the fine arts, offering to abandon monotony and offer his own, new and fresh look. In Vladislav's paintings, you can often find shades of gold, silver or copper, muted tones and monochrome images, a combination of glossy and matte surfaces, as well as various ornaments reminiscent of a carpet panel, "Chinoiserie" or "Damascus". We can say that Vladislav's work is a rethinking of the genre, a search and creation of something new and unique. At the moment, Vladislav Turkin's works are in private collections in the USA, Europe and the UAE. The artist is focused on the implementation of his future collections, searching for new ideas, and continues to develop his style of painting, making it more refined and unique.
