Elegance Painting

Passionate Painter and Autodidact., Born in Portugal and brought up in France. My Journey with Art. Art appeals to all our senses vision, audition, taste and smell. Art is felt not taught. I use Art in most things in my life and have different ways to express it. My uncle João Mário‘s paintings inspired me. I started to study his work as well as famous impressionists. I plunged in theirs paintings, learning to blend colors and mastering techniques and styles. After a while I was thirsty for more. I began with abstract landscapes, which led me to another daring adventure. Gradually started my transition to the “Abstract” world. Not an easy journey. This form of art exposes your soul, your raw feelings, moods and creativity. It’s a trip within yourself. I call it simply “Naked Art”. Along the years I sold much of my work to visitors that came to our home, which is our private gallery. My paintings are now in China, England, France, Germany, Spain, U.S.A. and Portugal. I did collective exhibitions in the Algarve and currently exposing in João Mário Museum in Alenquer near Lisbon.
