"Mystic Alchemy" is an intriguing addition to Yehor Lemzyakoff's "Alchemist" series. This oil on canvas measures 70 W x 100 H x 4 D cm and comes ready to hang, capturing a world of vibrant chaos and transformation. The artwork features a complex array of colors swirled into an abstract, dynamic composition that invites viewers to delve into the mystical processes of alchemy and transformation. Inspiration and Intent: Inspired by the ancient pursuit of converting base materials into noble substances, "Mystic Alchemy" explores the theme of creation and metamorphosis. Lemzyakoff draws on the symbolic representation of alchemy to explore the deeper transformations within the human spirit and the natural world. This painting embodies the mysterious and continuous flow of energy and matter, symbolizing the endless possibilities of change. Artistic Choices: The use of swirling, layered brush strokes and a vivid color palette reflects the unpredictable and often secretive nature of alchemical processes. This approach captures the essence of transformation, blending colors and forms in a way that suggests both dissolution and creation. Physical Details: The painting's rich textures and deep colors are achieved through the application of multiple layers of high-quality oil paints, ensuring that the artwork’s visual impact and durability are preserved over time.

Once I was asked: “What is the truth?”. I did not understand the question. What is art? Through our lives we, in one form or another, are trying to discover the meaning of our existence, to satisfy our curiosity and achieve satisfaction through such achievement. It is one's inevitable limitations and inhibitions which frustrate such efforts but which also frequently drive people with artistic spirits to create outside their comfort zone and in some extreme cases leads even to their destruction. I would like to see my art as an unrestricted journey of self-discovery and exploration in search of elusive answers to those and other questions which are often more difficult to understand than to answer. I remember once, my emotional, and admittedly elaborative art expose about my paintings, was abruptly interrupted by a friend, and an artist, saying: “You should not explain the art. The true art speaks for itself”. Forget prolonged explanations. Art is an expression in itself. Just as much as reality is just merely our perception. Is it not?
