The Peranakan Shophouses of Emerald Hill are one of Singapore's best addresses, just off Orchard Road. The decorative style was also known as Chinese Baroque. Emerald Hill is flanked with Shophouses on either side and the fronts feature decorative plaster work, painted shutters and decorative Peranakan tiles. The heavy scented Frangipani & Tropical Sealing Wax Palms in the gardens complete this charming look of Singapore's heritage past.

My architectural paintings are inspired by living Singapore and I am creating a new series of Caribbean Landmarks since travelling to St Vincent over the last year.
