My heart and soul were finally in sync Emerald greens and bright blue fireflies I can breathe and feel peace after years of spilled black ink The feeling is euphoric; yet my words defy me Instead, here lies the language of my soul Colours and patterns tell a story I wonder what you see Everything I need to say is in my Emerald supreme As anyone with mental health can tell you; it’s a lonely place sometimes. I lose my words and can’t express if I am in need of help or struggling with a situation. I found myself drawn to certain colours and designs which helped me process parts of me I couldn’t articulate. This piece specifically was a moment of clarity, genuine peace of heart and realisation that I am worthy of love and happiness despite my traumas. My art is interactive because it is 3D.
