The series of these pictures of entropy deals with worlds that come from the mystery, they are a system in apparent disorder, but they keep multiple and infinite narratives. They are abstract and figurative forms that every day can reveal new looks, new colors. I love the craft of painting, from cutting the fabric from the roll, to tensioning on the frame and final varnish. I apply a base on the fabric and then 4 layers of paint: the first of Peruvian dyes and acrylic brushstrokes, then three of oil, one after another, after each one dried creating transparencies, the gold leaf appears in fragments of memory a Baroque and finally, the varnish protector, with the patience of those who believe that what has been done slowly and with respect will reveal its mystery. I look for depth, balance and music in the colors. In the midst of this process, animals and beings that inhabit these worlds come from a magical place.

During my childhood, I spent much time alone, as my mother had to work to support us. In those moments of solitude, I would create farms full of small animals and fantasize for hours. This was the origin of my creative process, a game that I continue to enjoy to this day. Childhood is our homeland, and I return to it whenever I feel lost. There were many stages in my life when I turned my back on art, but it always resurfaced within me, uncontrollably, like a fresh spring to which I surrendered. A few years ago, I decided to make art the center of my life, and it was the best decision I ever made. I pursued academic training and was blessed to meet a beloved mentor, Armando Villegas (RIP), who believed in me, gave me confidence, and, in the last years of his life, encouraged me not to give up on this passion. I enjoy using professional-quality materials and experimenting with them; as a result, I have developed a personal technique in painting and drawing, creating a distinctive style that combines the abstract with the representational. I draw elements from my surroundings in South America and the theoretical principles of the "Constructive Universalism" movement, founded by the Uruguayan artist Joaquín Torres García, to offer a fresh perspective on the natural and fantastical world. Animals are a central presence in my work, serving as a reminder of our intrinsic connection to them and as a call to attention regarding their mistreatment in the food industry. The fusion of abstract and representational elements in my work invites the viewer to explore multiple interpretations and immerse themselves in a fantastic world where colors, plays of transparency, textures, and animal and human figures coexist harmoniously.
