About The Artwork

My work is mainly influenced by abstract expressionism. It is a spontaneous painting where dripping and action painting are the techniques that are most used. The originality in the technique relays on the fact that I myself make the paint. I use real pigments with binder, solvent, acrylic base, oil medium and water. The colors are different so we can see how the materials separate from each other and the the only possible mix is by superposition of several layers of paint. This technique is interesting because it creates a contrast that is visually attractive (also chromatically) and allows the viewer to witness the process of the artist production. The following materials were used: colored pigments, acrylics, oils, water and various types of diluents and binders. The support is canson paper 200 grs.
