The spark that started this painting was an inspirational quote by Albert Einstein about the value of Vision: “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. ” 2017 was a social and political turning point in my island that it’s reflected in this painting. The element of the old, insignificant and golden stray cat, sitting patiently on a swing, waiting to attack his next victim...it’s open to several interpretations.
