About The Artwork
My newest series is called "back to BLACK" - so I am exploring black as a color and as a background feature. A Neon Sign seemed the perfect way to play with black. I love retro signing, visited the Neon Sign Graveyard in old Las Vegas and was so inspired... I handpainted this neon "sign" on a deep gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are finished in black, it is wired and signed on the side with "DE" and has my signature on the back. Ready to hang on your wall - no frame necessary.
