A metaphorical staircase that rises with nature... portraying dichotomy's of light and dark, construction and deconstruction, organic and mechanical. Opposing this staircase is this heavenly light protruding from the top left of the canvas. This painting reflects humanity, as in the centre there is a profile of the back of a head. The staircase's hand rail acts as both that and the collar of whoever is silhouetted in the spiral of lines suggesting a connection with nature and our roots. Chaos and order.
